Inscopix, a discovery phase neurotechnology company, is seeking an experienced Director of Systems Engineering to lead our instrumentation and systems engineering team and drive the continued development and improvement of our brain mapping product platform.
The Director of Systems Engineering will lead and manage a team of optical, mechanical and embedded electronics engineers responsible for Inscopix’s microscope technology and nVista / nVoke brain mapping instrumentation development. The Director will lead platform development, manage scope, as well as contribute technically to design architecture and implementation when needed. He/she will work closely with the software team to integrate frontend software for instrumentation data acquisition and control and coordinate with Product Management guiding products from requirements to design to prototypes and to production. This position will report to the Vice President of Engineering.
